Hello Fellow Mom, Friend, and Neighbor;

I started momunity in 2007 when I was at home with my second daughter and looking for things to do with her around the city.  New to staying at home and having trouble finding things to do, I realized that even though I had lived here for years, I really didn’t know what our city had to offer a Mom and her family.  After searching several different publications and websites, I decided that we, the Moms of McKinney, needed something online focused on us and our needs as a Mom, Wife and Women in living McKinney, TX.  That’s how momunity was born.

Now, in 2009, We've grown our family again. Welcoming our first son into our family.  Making me a proud Mom of 4!  I am also a nine year resident of McKinney.  I am definitely savvier about our city and have found wonderful support from other Moms here.  I have also been growing momunity slowly but I feel we need to catch up with our fast growing city! 

So…We are working to re-launch and re-focus our website and grow it to become the #1 truly local online resource that is FREE for the Moms of McKinney, TX!

We have updated our directory and calendar of events so that anyone who visits our site can use these free tools to find great local businesses and what is going on around town.  We also have a new section of the website secured behind a log-in feature where Moms can use the forums to get advice and support from other local moms, you can review businesses to help other Moms determine if they would like to try them too, have access to guides like where kids eat free in McKinney and even get access to special discounts and sales just for momunity Moms!
